This weather's still pretty bad.  Everything is still intact for now, but the shed roof is starting to lift a bit so we may lose that later on.  I had to sleep with my bedroom window closed last night, which is something I rarely do even in the depths of winter.  It's not raining all the time, but there haven't been enough gaps in the downpours to get Dexter out for a walk yet.  I'm hoping it'll brighten up a bit later as they'd promised, and then he can have a decent walk somewhere.

My Caroline Shotton purse and handbag arrived this morning, and I love them!  I'll have to take photos later!

I'm going to crack on now - I'm so very far behind with NaNoWriMo and I need to start focusing and getting on with it!

Oh, joy of joys.  It's thundering here.  Our first thunderstorm of the whole year, believe it or not!  And I'm not only home alone, but am going to have to out in a minute to buy a bottle of wine to have this evening when we get in from the restaurant.  Erk!

In other news, I have now written nearly 6,500 words of my NaNoWriMo offering.  I'm still behind where I should be, but I've done more than 5,000 words today so if I can have another good day tomorrow, I'll hopefully be almost caught up - huzzah!

We're off out for a meal this evening, to Fishbone, to celebrate the (almost) second anniversary of the lottery win.  That's where we went the night we found out about it, so we thought it'd be fitting if we went back again!

Anyway, that's me for now, I think!
