I have a new toy.  It's a Hewlett Packard laptop and it's all sparkly and spangly and LOVELY.  And it cost quite a lot of money but we won't talk about that...

I'm now going to spend some time playing with it.

And I really must do some writing at some point as well...

Has anyone on here made a custom mood theme, using their own photos?  If so, is it easy?  And bearing in mind that I'm a hopeless technophobe, do you think I'd be able to do it?

Oh, joy of joys.  It's thundering here.  Our first thunderstorm of the whole year, believe it or not!  And I'm not only home alone, but am going to have to out in a minute to buy a bottle of wine to have this evening when we get in from the restaurant.  Erk!

In other news, I have now written nearly 6,500 words of my NaNoWriMo offering.  I'm still behind where I should be, but I've done more than 5,000 words today so if I can have another good day tomorrow, I'll hopefully be almost caught up - huzzah!

We're off out for a meal this evening, to Fishbone, to celebrate the (almost) second anniversary of the lottery win.  That's where we went the night we found out about it, so we thought it'd be fitting if we went back again!
